Hi! My name is Chris Healy and Above the Clouds is my company. I've been a professional balloonist since 1986. I've flown in California, New Mexico and most of the Northeast. A few times each year, we pack up the whole operation and go to balloon festivals. It's always nice to fly in a new area, but there's no place like home. The rolling green hills and lush farmland of Orange County, NY are a sight to behold. Safety has always been our #1 priority, and that's not just talk! Ballooning is limited to times of good weather and light winds. If the weather doesn't cooperate with us on the day of your flight, we'll reschedule with you for another time. Our decision to fly is always made with our passengers' safety in mind. Each pilot is certified by the FAA with a commercial license and attends an annual safety seminar. • Mountain Spring Trail 3/4 mile long, Route 210 South of Greenwood Lake

• Local Trails - There are 450 acres of state land on the mountain behind the inn, and two beautiful, pristine mountain lakes, miles of hiking trails including The Appalachian Trail and untouched forest that await your exploration. Bring a picnic basket and backpack or borrow one of ours and spend the day sunbathing or wandering. The mountain is full of trails, an abandoned RR bed, an old quarry, the hidden remains of a mining village and abundant wildlife. Bring bug spray and boots or sneakers if you plan on really exploring! If I give you a map to this hidden spot you have to promise to keep it to yourself! This is just for my guests and the few locals who know about it!!!
