The following comment is from past guests Keith & Lori from their B&B review web site:
"This was our second time at Glenwood House the first time we have returned to a B&B. We were not disappointed. We had reserved the Harvest Moon Suite, which is in the cottage behind the main house. This suite was next to the Lord Byron Suite, where we stayed during our previous visit two years ago.
We loved the décor of this room country and rustic yet civilized, not too fussy yet still incorporated some nice antiques. The main room itself is huge. There are windows on three sides with curtains of a beige canvas/thick sheet material with a border on the edge, strung up on wrought iron rods. The walls were a soft yellow with an antiqued look. The huge king bed was set at a diagonal which created a wonderful setting. There are bookshelves (fully stocked) lining two walls. There are two ceiling fans, baseboard heat, a window unit air conditioner, and a gas stove for year-round comfort (and the gas stove provides a great romantic atmosphere). The bed itself was very comfortable and had great sheets (flannel, we believed). It was covered with a beautiful white coverlet with matching pillow shams, with a quilt artfully draped across it. . ." |

Note: There are three buildings that comprise The Glenwood House grounds: the main House, the Guest Cottage on the hill adjacent to the main House, and Jean's Bird Haven (next to the main House). There is also a carriage house, next to the Guest Cottage, that is Andrea's art studio.
